ABUBAKAR, Lafia –
Nasarawa Emirate Council in Nasarawa Local government area of Nasarawa state has announced the death of a Prince of Nasarawa, Alhaji Umaru Sarki Abubakar.
The Secretary of the council, Hon. Dr Idris Mohammed Loko, announced this in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday.

The statement said the late Alhaji Umaru, who holds the traditional tittle of Makaman Dawaki Nasarawa died aged 81 and was the last junior brother to the late 10th Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Ramalan Abubakar.
His jana’iza prayer was led by his royal highness, the Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman jibrin, which held at the Emirs Palace on Thursday .
He is survived by 14 children (8 female and 6 male) .
