Zone 6 Police command begin medical screening for constables

The Zone 6 Police Headquarters have commenced medical screening exercise for police constables from Akwa Ibom and Cross River States who were successful in the just concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the ongoing 2021 recruitment.

The police spokesman, DSP Nelson Okpabi said in a statement on Sunday that the medical screening exercise is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 17th May to Tuesday 26th May, 2022 between 8am – 3pm daily, at Zone 6 Police Clinic Calabar. The mop up date for the two states is Wednesday 27th May, 2022 from 8am – 2pm.

“Those who participated in the recruitment CBT are to check their application status on the recruitment portal, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng and print out their medical screening slip, if qualified”.

“Candidates are to appear at the screening center in clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following:
National Identity Card/Slip
Printout of medical screening slip (as obtained from the portal)
Candidates are equally advised to stick to their allotted dates and time.

The Zonal command, further, stressed that the screening exercise is absolutely free of charge and will be very transparent and professional. The applicants are advised to be wary of scammers and avoid falling prey to swindlers who might take advantage of the exercise to defraud unsuspecting applicant’s
