
Cross River Commissioner for Finance, Asuquo Ekpeyong
PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –
The Cross River State Government is set to upgrade all existing infrastructure in the Ministry of Finance as a leading agency and gateway of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
The State Commissioner for Finance, Asuquo Ekpeyong, disclosed this on Monday during a routine sanitation exercise with staff of the Ministry at the cooperates headquarters in Calabar.
The Commissioner also stated that the exercise is going to be an annual rehabilitation exercise.
” In life, cleanliness is next to Godliness, to ensure that environment is safe in anything you do, you must maintain a clean environment, the Ministry is the gateway of the administration”
“We must always ensure that the environment is safe, to make sure that the office is in good condition so that when investors come, it will show us as a leading brand in the comity of states in Nigeria”
Conducting the Commissioner round the premises after the sanitation exercise, the Director of Administration, Ben Olom commended the ingenuity of the commissioner for ordering the rebranding of the Ministry .
Olom also commended the staff of the Ministry for coming out in large numbers within a very short notice to keep the Ministry in good shape through environmental sanitation.
