The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, rising from its National Executive Council Meeting, NEC, has adopted “Indirect Primaries” to select Candidates that will represent the party in the 2023 elections, including Presidential Standard Bearer.
Below are key resolutions made at the APC NEC meeting today:
- Indirect Primaries, no consensus.
- Also during the ongoing NEC meeting, President Muhammadu Buhari, others also stepped aside, as they transmit their powers to National Working Committee Of The APC, To Make Decisions For the party for a period of 90 Days (which covers the presidential primaries).
- APC NEC meeting has just made a wonderful resolution, approving 50% discount for Nomination/Expression of Interest form for youths running under the party platform (i.e those from 40 years and below)
- “APC constitution only recognises serving governors as party leaders says Abdullahi Adamu at NEC Meeting.
- Tinubu absent at the NEC meeting.
