
First Lady and wife of Nasarawa State Governor, Hajiya Sulifat Sule

The First Lady and wife of Nasarawa State Governor, Hajiya Sulifat Sule, has called on women in the state to come out and participate actively in the forthcoming general elections.
Hajia Sulifat, made the call during the statewide “Meet the women tour”, at the Lafia Local Government Secretariat on Thursday.
It was the second day of APC campaign in the southern zone of the state and women from Lafia and Doma came together to synergies ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The First Lady, who appealed to the women to vote all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for more dividends of democracy, also urged them to advise their husbands appropriately, for peaceful coexistence to thrive.
In their speeches at the occasion, wife of the Deputy Governor, Sheila Tosan Akabe, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Aisha Rufai Ibrahim and Wife of the Chairman, Lafia Local Government Area, Zainab Aminu Maifata, solicited support for continuity of the progressive programmes by the present administration.
Earlier, the campaign train paid homage to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage, where the monarch harps on peaceful campaign by all political parties.
