The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Alhaji Rabi’u Kwankwaso, says both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have failed Nigerians for the past 24 years of ruling the country.
Alhaji Kwankwaso, who said the two parties have failed in the areas of security, economy, infrastructure, in uniting Nigerians an many other aspects, urged Nigerians to reject the two parties and vote for his party, the NNPP, in next month’s election.

He stated these during the North-East Zonal Presidential and Gubernatorial rally held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, promising that the NNPP would address the 24 years of failures that the country has witnessed under the PDP and the APC led administrations.
He said: “This is an opportunity to remind all those who are here and those listening at home to continue raising the flag of our party, the New Nigeria People’s Party.

“We believe that the two parties that have ruled in the last 24 years have failed the country in terms of security, in terms of economy, in terms of infrastructure and even in terms of unity among Nigerians.
“So we believe that this party is the only answer to the failures that we have witnessed in the last 24 years in this country”.
“We thank God Almighty for this opportunity not only for those of us in the NNPP, but we are giving Nigerians an alternative to the two dead parties, the PDP and the APC”.
“I’m so happy that this party has been so accepted by the vast majority of Nigerians both at home and abroad. And that is why everybody believes that our party is the only growing party today in this country and we thank God for that,” he said.

The former Kano State Governor and former Minister of Education, boasted that the NNPP has come to stay in the country because it is in all the wards, local government areas and the states in Nigeria; adding that “I’m also happy to say that today, we have the largest number of candidates filled by INEC and at the same time, the best in terms of quality.”
Also speaking, the NNPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, lamented that “Nigeria is in a state of political comatose of decayed infrastructure, insecurity everywhere, inflation to the highest digit like never before.”
“And that is why Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, thought it wise, as a founding member of PDP, because they have drifted and the umbrella is now licking, the rain is beating Nigerians; he thought when he shifts to the APC, there would be a change, but he found out that the broom is no longer sweeping, the more they sweep, the more dirty it becomes.
“So he took a courageous leadership step and took over the NNPP leadership so as to bring about his visionary experience. What he did in Kano is about to be replicated in Nigeria,” he added.
