President Bola Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has written to the Senate, requesting confirmation of Prof. Melvin Ayogu’s appointment to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) Board of Directors.
President Tinubu also sought Senate confirmation for Mr. Nwakuche Ndidi’s appointment as Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCOS).
This is according to a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by the presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
The requests according to the statement were conveyed in letters to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The letters were read during Tuesday’s plenary.
