
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has urged the youths and communities across the state to co-exist peacefully in the interest of peace and development.
Dr. Jatau, made the call while inspecting the ongoing construction of Mosque he is building at Jama’a Gayan community, Kofar Gwari Ward of Kokona LGA today.
According to the Speaker, he decided to construct the mosque in order to promote religious activities in the area, stressing that he wants to get reward from God, that is why he is building the mosque as it will strengthen their faith.
“The importance of Mosque to unity, peace and development of any community cannot be overemphasized. This Mosque if completed will boost religion activities in this community and its environs.”
“I want to use this opportunity to call on you, particularly the youths to embrace peace as what we want is peace. You should not allow anybody to use you to cause problem in the society. Let’s live in peace and unity” he said.
He also appreciated Gov.Abdullahi Sule l, for the construction of Jama’a Gayan road which would boost agricultural activities and improve on the standard of living of the people.
The Speaker called on the people of the area to continue to give their maximum support to Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
” This is to enable His Excellency to do more projects for you and other communities” he said.
Responding, Mr Muhammadu Sani Aliyu, Sarkin Jama’a Gayan community appreciated the Speaker for his people’s oriented projects in his constituency.
