African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State’s Okitipupa Local Government Area is reaching out to members of the opposition parties, particularly the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to join its fold.
This move comes as the party welcomes 25 new members, signaling a growing wave of political consciousness across the country.
According to Mr. Oluwambe Ogunbameru, the ADC Chairman in the council, “The expansion of the party is a move that guarantees liberty for all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion, or region, and paves the way for a just and accountable leadership.”
He praised the new entrants, stating that the ADC remains committed to national unity, freedom, and good governance.
Ogunbameru called on all well-meaning Nigerians to join hands with the ADC to restore democratic values and integrity in governance.
“Nigerians shall be rescued and Nigeria shall be great again,” he said, emphasizing the party’s determination to reshape governance in the state and country.
The ADC’s efforts to woo PDP and APC members are part of its broader strategy to build a stronger democratic future.
With notable figures like Senator Nicholas Tofowomo, who recently defected from the PDP, joining the party, the ADC is poised to make a significant impact in the 2027 general elections.
