President Bola Tinubu
Grand Patron of the Team Sen. Oluremi for Tinubu 2023–2027, Dr. Rufus Ebegba, has assured Nigerians that significant progress under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership will become evident well before the current administration ends in 2027.
Speaking on Thursday during the national strategic meeting of the support group in Abuja, Ebegba expressed optimism about the nation’s trajectory. “Nigerians will exhale in relief before 2027,” he said.
“The change we voted for will not just be visible; it will be undeniable.”
Security, he noted, remains a top priority for the administration. “We are committed to restoring peace across the country,” Ebegba declared. “Nigeria must rise above criminality. We will defeat our enemies. Bandits terrorising our people will surrender and be brought to their knees by the Federal Government.”
He pointed to ongoing efforts by the Tinubu government to create long-term economic platforms that would benefit both current citizens and future generations.
According to him, the administration is laying down legacy-driven structures in healthcare, education, infrastructure, and power.
“Our hospitals are being strengthened and new ones established so that no Nigerian is left behind when it comes to accessing quality healthcare,” Ebegba stated.
He also noted that renewable energy, particularly solar, is receiving attention as part of efforts to stabilise electricity supply nationwide.
On transportation, Ebegba said major investments are being channeled into railway development to connect cities and boost trade.
“A modern, efficient rail system is no longer a dream — it’s a goal in motion,” he noted.
The meeting, attended by representatives from across the country, served as a platform to evaluate progress since 2023 and plan strategically for the remainder of Tinubu’s term.
“Our goal is to align grassroots mobilisation with federal priorities,” Ebegba explained. “Representatives here today will take back this message of hope and progress to their states, energising support for President Tinubu’s vision.”
He also praised First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, calling her “a woman of vision and compassion” who is “deeply committed to nation-building through programs that touch lives.”
Mr. Kelvin Ezekiel, convener of the group, also addressed the gathering, highlighting government achievements in education, especially the rollout of the student loan initiative. “This administration is listening and acting,” Ezekiel said. “We are here not just to support, but to offer ideas and solutions.”
Dr. Ebegba concluded by expressing confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership. “He is a patriotic leader with an unwavering commitment to development,” he said.
“With continued support and a renewed mandate, he will not only meet expectations — he will exceed them.”
