Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed a total of 115 personnel as part of its ongoing internal reforms aimed at strengthening discipline and professionalism within the agency.
In a statement issued today, the DSS said the dismissals were carried out over a period of time and followed internal reviews of conduct and performance.
The Service also reiterated earlier warnings against individuals posing as DSS officials, naming Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin among those previously disclaimed. The agency cautioned the public to be wary of fraudulent activities by some of the dismissed officers who continue to present themselves as serving personnel.
> “Members of the public are advised to desist from any official dealing with these individuals who have been dismissed by the Service,” the statement read.
For transparency, the DSS noted that the identities of the affected personnel have been published on its official website at www.dss.gov.ng/media/more/4.
The agency urged citizens with enquiries or complaints to contact the DSS via 09088373515 or dsspr@dss.gov.ng.
The Service reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining integrity and accountability in the discharge of its duties.
