Lewis Hamilton has written another major chapter in Formula One history after claiming his first Grand Prix victory for Ferrari in Barcelona.
The win according to SuperSport makes Hamilton the first driver in Formula One history to record race victories for McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari, three of the sport’s most successful and iconic teams.
The trajectory of his success across the teams remains remarkable. He secured his first McLaren win just six races into his debut, followed by a 10 race wait for victory with Mercedes. At Ferrari, it took 31 Grands Prix before he finally reached the top step of the podium.
The Barcelona result pushes his career tally to 106 Grand Prix victories, further strengthening his standing at the summit of the sport’s all time records.
At 41, there have been repeated questions about how much remains in his tank. But Hamilton has again answered on track, extending a career defined by record breaking moments and relentless reinvention, this time in Ferrari red.
