The total number of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria climbed to 63,036 on Monday, with the addition of 72 new cases recorded from eight states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), via its official twitter handle NCDC@NCDCgov.
According to the health agency, out of 63,036 infections, a total of 59,328 treated and discharged, with 1,147 deaths recorded since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
A breakdown of the 72 new cases shows that Lagos has -51, FCT-6, Ogun-4, Kaduna-3, Niger-2, Ondo-2, Plateau-2, Katsina-1 and Oyo-1.
