Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello, has met with the freed students from Government Science Secondary School, Kagara.
The Governor said the students, staff and their relatives regained their freedom in the early hours of Saturday.
Governor Bello applauded the support of security agencies, traditional rulers and other interest groups.
He expressed the hope that they would soon be reunited with their families after going through necessary health checks.
