AFCON Final: Mutfwang cheers up Super Eagles ahead of clash against Côte D’Ivoire

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has cheered up the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of their match against Cote D’Ivoire in the finals for the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) slated for this evening.

The Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA) to the governor, Gyang Bere, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Jos.

The governor who interacted with the players via zoom, expressed unwavering confidence in the team’s remarkable performance, believing they would return home with the trophy.

“We are immensely proud of you as you head into the finals, and our prayers are with you.

”Your remarkable efforts in Cote d’Ivoire have brought Nigerians together, and we, in Plateau, are honoured to be part of this historic journey,” he said.
