All eyes on the ‘Good Husband’ movie

Dickson Iroebgu

AUSTIN FAIR, Lagos

From all indications, the ‘Good Husband’, a block buster movie packaged by the veteran and award winner, Dickson Iroebgu, and which has been slated for unveil at the cinemas on November13, promises to be one of the best produced in recent times.

Aside from receiving a lot of rave reviews already from different quarters and critics, those who have seen the clips, are speaking volumes about same. Well, because It is the first major work from the restless man who has waltzed into other topical areas, especially the political terrain, in recent years and joined hands in the quest to have formidable men and women at the helm of affairs at all levels.

The ‘’Good Husband’’, depending on the perspective one views it, but in the words of the producer, manifests when ‘’the wife creates an atmosphere that enables the man to love and appreciate her.’’

It is thought-provoking story, considering the fact that many marriages are either crashing or shaky these days. Oftentimes, the man is blamed when the cookie crumbles; but it is a known fact a good husband holds, caters for and protects his wife no matter what…

In sum, the ups and downs of marriage is explored in this film through other characters, cutting across religion and tribe.

Wait until the movie which stars tested hands and faces like Francis Duru, Sam Dede, Monalisa Code and a host of others, finally hits the cinemas and ultimately homes. Genesis Cinemas will distribute.

Those who know Mazi Dickson Iroegbu and his antecedents in the art of movie making and life generally, of course know that something good, appealing and palatable is coming in a matter of weeks from now.
