Bago mourns ex-Governor Babangida-Aliyu’s mother

Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago has commiserated with former Governor Mua’zu Babangida-Aliyu, over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Jamila Aliyu.

Governor Bago in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the deceased as a great woman who was a mother to all.

He noted that the deceased was a pious, kind, compassionate, woman who nurtured children around her to greatness, adding that she would be greatly missed by many.

Bago encouraged Babangida-Aliyu to accept the death of his mother as an act of Allah and be steadfast in His will as the Almighty.

He prayed Allah to comfort Babangida Aliyu, other family members and all those affected by the loss.

The governor also prayed that Allah would forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her eternal rest in paradise.
