Suspected bandits otherwise known as terrorists have kidnapped no fewer than 15 persons in Ibbi community in Mashegu Local Area of Niger State.
It was gathered that the bandits, who invaded the remote community also rustled a yet-to-be known number of cattle.
They were also said to have broken into a provision shop at Kawo Village.
Meanwhile, the police spokesman in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, has confirmed the incident to newsmen in the state.
The PPRO noted that a team of police/vigilante have been drafted to the area for search and rescue of the abducted victims.
