Suspected armed bandits who kidnapped and killed some passengers onboard Abuja-Kaduna on Monday, have told the families of their victims to prepare the ransom which they will pay and secure the release of their loved ones.
This was made public by a Twitter user whose relative was kidnapped. According to FIJ, the bandits called the relatives of the man to prepare to pay for ransom.
A Twitter user wrote:
“Innalillahi wa’Inna ilaihirajiun. This is a brother of ours, he was caught in yesterday’s incident. All attempts to trace his whereabouts have proved abortive yesterday.
A few minutes ago, the Kidnappers called and said he is with them. Please pray for his safe return.”
