Hussaina Umaru Bandirawo, the immediate younger sister to the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly

ARMSTRONG ALLAHMAGANI, Bauchi –

Hussaina Umaru Bandirawo, the immediate younger sister to the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, is dead.

She was said to have died at the age of 50 on Thursday after a brief illness.

The spokesperson of the speaker, Abdul Burra, who disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Bauchi, said that the deceased left behind one child.

He said: “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihir Rajiun. On a sad note but with total submission to the will of the Almighty Allah, we announce the passing away of the immediate younger sister of the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman, Hussaina Umaru Bandirawo.

“She died this afternoon in Bauchi after a brief illness”.

“May Almighty Allah accept her good deeds, forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.”

She was buried in Bauchi at 4.00pm on Thursday according to Islamic rites after a funeral pray was held at Gwallaga Juma’ah Mosque with hundreds of sympathizers in attendance.
