
Secretary to the Borno State Government (SSG) and former Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Bukar Tijjani, on Wednesday officially picked up his All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic registration membership card of the party at Dikwa Central Ward, Ajari West Unit of Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State
Dikwa town which is located at about 90 kilometers away from Maiduguri city located at the northern part of the state receives their son with lots of commendations for his ability to come down home to pick his e-registration APC membership card .
The party stakeholders in the Dikwa Central Ward, described the action of the SSG as a demonstration of loyalty and obedience as well as good leadership.
Some also expressed confidence that the SSG’s action would definitely inspire others to pick their membership card, especially , the youths, to register and actively participate in the scheduled APC activities across the state.
Although, Governor Zulum had earlier directed all top government officials to pick their e-registration membership card in their respective domain across the 27 LGAs which was launched few weeks ago in Maiduguri at the APC State Secretariat by the APC National Chairman alongside the APC National Deputy Chairman North , Hon. Bukar Ali Dalori, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari among others.
This is also coming ahead of the APC Congress from ward level to the national level which the ruling party has given particular attention and priority.
The event took place amidst several Dikwa LGA and Dikwa Emirate party leaders, traditional rulers and government officials, including the representative of the Shehu of Dikwa, in the person of the Secretary of Dikwa Emirate, Council, Alhaji Gambo Kolomi; Hon. Modu Ali Ghana (Special Adviser on SEMA, Dikwa).
Others include the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Emirate Affairs, Modu Alhaji Mustapha; the incoming and outgoing Chairmen of Dikwa Local Government Council.
The rest are the Dikwa Local Government Council APC Chairman, Alhaji Modu Bintube; the Dikwa Local Government Council APC Secretary, Alhaji Awa Fatibe; as well as other key Dikwa Community stakeholders.
