COVID-19: Nigeria’s confirmed cases now 151 as NCDC reports 12 more

COVID-19: PTF says risks of reopening night clubs, bars, still too high

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the confirmation of 12 new cases of covid-19 in the country.

With this disclosure by the NCDC on Wednesday, the number of confirmed cases of the disease in the country has now risen to 151.

The new cases occurred in Osun, Edo and Ekiti states.

“Twelve new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State.

“As at 12:30 pm 1st April there are 151 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.

“As at 12:30 pm 1st April, there are 151 confirmed cases, 9 discharged, 2 deaths,” said the NCDC on its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov.

All cases so far confirmed in Nigeria are as follows:

Lagos- 82
FCT- 28
Osun- 14
Oyo- 8
Ogun- 4
Edo- 4
Kaduna- 3
Enugu- 2
Bauchi- 2
Ekiti- 2
Rivers-1
Benue- 1
