
Vanquisher combat vehicle produced in Kaduna

Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede has commended the local production of combat equipments by an indigenous company for the use of the military in current operation.
Oluyede gave the commendation while taking the delivery of the locally-produced All-Terrain Combat Vehicles during the 2025 COAS Bi-Annual Conference in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The latest purchase underscore the Nigerian Army’s compliance with the Federal Government new agenda for the promotion and patronage of Made-in Nigeria products by public and private institutions in the country.
The vehicles were produced in Kaduna by Vanquish Industries and expected to deliver the combat vehicles as scheduled.
Lt. Gen. Oluyede said,” From what see here today, this is a clear manifestation of what we can do in Nigeria. We commend the company. “
“These vehicles will boost our operation and troops advancement into difficult areas. We will put them into judicious use, tor the purpose they are meant to serve,” COAS added
The Managing Director of Vanquish Industries Limited, Mr Zach Duwa e said ,” The All-Terrain Combat Vehicles called Vanquisher is primarily to enhance infantry mobility, assisting military troops to move into difficult terrain of operation”.
“Built with military grade materials, The special operational vehicles are equipped with night vision technology, which allow troops to navigate even in the dark,” Duwa said
He added that the vehicles can also accommodate other facilities that boost troops’ efficiency and performances over their targets, stressing that, that the five vehicles were the first set of deliveries while the remaining combat vehicles are still in production.
Duwa assured that the company will deliver the rest of the vehicles at the scheduled time, saying”, it is a tradition the company has kept for years.”
