The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on Wednesday suspended the on-going orientation course in nationwide camps for fear of spread of the coronavirus.
Sources at the NYSC headquarters in Maiduguri, Borno state said that the Batch “A” Corps members, which began their 21 days orientation camping last week, March 10, were equally affected.
NATIONAL ACCORD gathered further that the Corps members, nationwide, would receive posting letters to their places of primary assignments before the week runs out.
It will be recalled that the coronavirus has so far killed over 7000 persons globally and three cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, although no death has been recorded in the country.
