Cross River PDP appoints Tony Effiong as Chief of Staff

PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –

The Cross River State Chapter of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) on Tuesday appointed the former Secretary of Akamkpa Local Government Area, Hon. Tony Effiong as the Chief of Staff to the state chairman.

In a statement signed by Mike Ojisi, the party’s Publicity Secretary, said the State Chairman of PDP, Mr. Vena Ikem, after consultation with relevant stakeholders has approved the appointment of Tony Effiong as Chief of Staff.

Other’s include Jonah Eyet, The Special Assistant Southern Senatorial District; Ayang David, Central Senatorial District; Gospel Agom, Northern Senatorial District and David Ukeh, Personal Assistant to the chairman.

The PDP Chairman, urged them to be more committed than ever as the party reposition itself in line with the vision of all stakeholders.
