Suspected Internet fraudsters arrested by EFCC

Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), have arrested fifteen suspected internet fraudsters.
A statement issued via the anti-graft agency’s X handle on Tuesday, said the suspects were arrested at Abu King Shuluwe Street Akpehe, Makurdi metropolis based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud.
Items recovered from them include: two cars, five laptop computers, 17 mobile phones among others.
The statement said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as their investigations are concluded.
