Suspected Internet fraudsters arrested by EFCC operatives in Auchi, Edo State

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 35 suspected internet fraudsters in Auchi, Edo State.
The commission in a post on its X handle on Tuesday, said the suspects were arrested in Vigilante Street, off Sabo Ibenafo Road and Back of Yak areas of the town.
It said their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
Items recovered from them at the point of arrest include nine cars, eleven laptop computers, 46 mobile phones and two smart watches.
They would be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
