Ambassador of the State of Libya, Ayad M. F. Attayary, made the appeal when he hosted a large delegation of clerics and members from the Brotherhood of The Cross and Star at his embassy in Abuja.

Against the backdrop of Insecurity and political instability in Libya, the Ambassador of the State of Libya, His Excellency, Ambassador Ayad M. F. Attayary has called on the spiritual leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu to pay a visit to his country.
The envoy also appealed that the spiritual leader should establish his organization in Libya.
The ambassador made this request when he hosted a large delegation of clerics and members from the Nigeria’s spiritual organisation in his embassy in Abuja.
The ambassador alongside his colleagues, First Secretary, Mr. Ayad Musbah Al-Tayari as well as Mr. Abdul – Moeire Gargoum (Counsellor) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs attached to the State of Libya, Embassy of Libya – Abuja, promised to visit the spiritual leader in Calabar before year ends as a further way of consolidating on their mutual relationship.
The Libyan envoy expressed gratitude to the delegates whom he described as diplomatic colleagues, stating that the visit was the beginning of cordial relationship between the State of Libya and Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
“I want to say that the presence of your organisation is needed in my country and by extension in the entire region consisting Morroco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Sahawari Arab Republic.
“We love your message of peace, love, forgiveness and brotherhood of all races.
“We have accepted your invitation to be The Holy Father’s guest during the 2021 Divine Manifestation Celebration at Calabar, Cross River State.
“We will ensure smooth travel process to our country whenever the need to visit arises.
“We are going to send your messages to the President, His Excellency Mohamed Al-Menfi of State of Libya for registration of your organisation.”
The Brotherhood 10-man delegation was led by Raphael Uchem, the Vice chairman of the Universal Council of Christ Ambassadors Diplomatic Committee, an arm of the spiritual Organization.
