The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), headed by National Chairman, Interim National Working Committee (INWC), Barr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, has arrived in Bauchi State to attend the 2026 Goodluck Jonathan Foundation (GJF) Democracy Dialogue, scheduled for August 11, 2026.
This year’s dialogue, centered on the theme: _“Building Institutional Firewalls,” convenes prominent African statesmen, legal scholars, and key political stakeholders_.
Discussions will focus on reinforcing democratic governance, preserving judicial independence, and safeguarding the integrity of Nigeria’s electoral systems.
The high-level symposium aims to generate actionable insights to fortify democratic norms and cultivate resilient, accountable governance frameworks across Nigeria and the wider African continent.
