
Tor Tiv, Prof James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse

His Royal Majesty (HRM), the Tor Tiiv Professor James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse, has been appointed the grand patron of the Retired Federal Government workers under the auspices of Nigeria Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme (NUPCPS), Benue State Chapter.
A statement by the Special Assistant to Tor Tiv on Media and ICT, Freddie Adamgbe, revealed that the Chairman of NUPCPS in the State, Comrade Douglas Ukekor Aluna, who presented the appointment letter to the Begha u Tiv in his palace in Gboko disclosed that the appointment was approved by the national headquarters of the association.
According to the statement, Comrade Aluna requested the Tor Tiv to advise other traditional rulers who retired from the service of the federal government to register with the association which according to him proactively pursue and address challenges confronting pensioners with maximum positive results.
Aluna expressed gratitude to Orcivirigh Ayatse for accepting the appointment which he noted would bring tremendous impact.
While accepting the appointment, Orcivirigh Ayatse noted that he was highly honoured saying as a retired Federal Government public servant he will offer useful contributions for the success of the association.
“I implore the leadership of the association to be committed and determined to pursue its goals and objectives for the overall interest of the members.”
In his comment, Comrade Joseph Aôndona lauded the wonderful reception accorded them at short notice and pledged that they would abide by the counsel they received from the Royal father.
Other members that were part of the delegation include Akua Terlumun Vincent and Shidoo Lydia Ahom-Ikyanyon.
