Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa, the immediate past Secretary to the State Government, (SSG ) Borno State has died at the age of 65.
Shuwa, who until May 28th, 2023 was the SSG of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum les administration, passed away on Saturday evening.
He died at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
Late Usman Shuwa was a seasoned administrator with a long standing track of record having worked at the Presidential Villas, State House Abuja as Administration Secretary to the former First Lady, Hajiya Maryam Sani Abacha and later with the former Head of State, Late General Sani Abacha before he was deployed as federal ministerial Secretary before attending National War College as a Fellow and have also served in various administrative capacity under Borno State Civil Service.
Late Shuwa was Born in 1958 in Bama town of Bama LGA of Borno State and died at the age of 65.
His funeral prayer and burial according to Muslim rites will take place at his residence, Gambole Road, GRA, Maidugui by 2pm tomorrow Sunday as announced by the family.
