(Mrs.) Rose Nwankwo, has sponsored the registration fees of 11 students sitting for the 2025 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations at Community Secondary School, Inyere (CSS).
The gesture, which also included the provision of logistics support, was carried out on November 30, 2025, at her Inyere residence.
Mrs. Nwankwo, widely admired for her philanthropic works and passion for educational upliftment, has over the years initiated multiple empowerment programmes targeted at youths, women, and vulnerable groups within and outside the Imoha community.
Her latest intervention, according to community stakeholders, underscores her longstanding belief that education remains the most sustainable tool for societal progress.
As part of her broader educational support initiative, the former coordinator, further, directed the community’s Education Committee to compile a list of undergraduate students in need of assistance.
She announced that these students would also benefit from her empowerment programme in December 2025, thereby extending her support beyond secondary education to tertiary-level learners.
While addressing the WAEC candidates, Mrs. Nwankwo urged them to justify the investment made in their future by remaining focused, disciplined, and dedicated to their studies.
She emphasized the importance of academic excellence, reminding them that “to whom much is given, much is expected.”
She encouraged the beneficiaries to view the opportunity not merely as financial relief but as a call to strive for outstanding performance that will make both their families and the community proud.
Community leaders, parents, and school authorities have applauded the intervention, describing it as a timely and impactful contribution to improving access to quality education in Ezza North.
Many noted that Mrs. Nwankwo’s gesture has eased financial burdens for families while motivating young learners to pursue their academic goals with greater determination.
With her continued investment in the educational sector, Hon. (Mrs.) Rose Nwankwo continues to set a remarkable example of community-driven leadership and service, reinforcing her reputation as a champion of youth empowerment and social development.
