“In Nasarawa State today, over 90 percent of kidnappers and armed robbers at our Correctional Centres are Fulani, some of which are not even of Nigerian origin and yet we are expected to sit and watch one Alhaji Badejo, inaugurating migrants with uniforms”

“We oppose the setting up of any suspicious security agency that is not community based to avoid a situation where they could be used as militia, as such we call for the immediate proscription of the Badejo’s vigilante group in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large”

“We oppose the arming of private security organisations in Nasarawa State, especially in view of the peculiar security challenges facing Nigeria today” he said.

The forum also called for the immediate redeployment of all security heads who attended the launching of the Miyetti Allah’s Vigilante Group, two weeks ago.

It maintained that all the federal government owned security outfits should be well equipped with gadgets and capacity building for a better intelligence gathering and quick response.
