Gunmen

The President General, Kunav United Development Association (KUDA), Mr Emmanuel Tor Yaji, has been abducted by gunmen on Monday in his country home.
KUDA is the umbrella organisation of Kunav, Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State, the home community of the Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia.
Confirming the abduction of the community leader the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Catherine Anene, said the information was received at Vandeikya Police Division that Mr. Yaji of Tsar Mbaduku, was kidnaped at Tsar where he sat relaxing with his friends.
The police spokesperson said the police swiftly deployed police detectives for his rescue and investigation was on going.
She said the police command would appreciate every useful information that could lead to his rescue .
She further assured that further information about the operation would be communicated as the investigation progresses.
