Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin

Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has submitted himself to the police over a viral video allegedly showing him holding a handgun while stuck in traffic.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that the pastor had turned himself in and investigation had begun.
Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said in a statement on Tuesday that, “Pastor Paul Adefarasin has turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja.
He is currently being interrogated by detectives, who have commenced investigation on the case since the video surfaced online.”
The viral video sparked public speculation, with some alleging that the pastor was displaying a gun.
However, Adefarasin denied the allegation, stating that the object was not a firearm and he did not point it at anyone.
The police command assured that the outcome of the investigation would be made public.
Hundeyin emphasized that no one is above the law.
