Award-winning actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo, held the premiere of his latest movie “Jagun Jagun” on Wednesday, in Lekki, Lagos State.
The colourful event witnessed several Nollywood actors arriving adorned in traditional Yoruba warrior attire.
Video clips that emerged online have showed moments Sola Shobowale, Joke Silva, Eniola Ajao, Odunlade Adekola, Oga Bello, Muyiwa Ademola, Fathia Balogun, Funkẹ Akindele, Kunle Remi, Kie Joe, Aisha Lawal, Dele Odule, Yinka Quadri, and a constellation of other A-list luminaries thronged the event, radiating unwavering support for their esteemed colleague.
Femi Adebayo created a whirlwind of excitement at the movie premiere location by making a dramatic entrance. His fellow colleagues greeted him with enthusiastic dance moves and cheers, adding to the electric atmosphere.
At the screening, actor Lateef Adedimeji could not hold back his tears as he finally had the opportunity to see it become a reality.
Lateef bowed to Femi in the trending video as he addressed those present at the private screening, where he opened up on the challenges he faced as a cast on the movie.
Lateef, who broke down in tears, said he shot the movie in pain as he broke his leg and almost gave up, but Femi Adebayo’s constant encouragement at the movie location kept him going.
Speaking on his experience during the movie shoot, Lateef said, “I just want to say, thank you, sir. It was a tough one, from the first action, I broke my leg. So all through the filming, I was in pain.”
Meanwhile actress Eniola Ajao’s magnificent outfit was the centre of attention at the private screening.
Not to be deterred by criticisms, the actress on Thursday, revealed that a deeper understanding of her fashion statement would be gained by those who experience the movie on Netflix.
The actress underscored the mutual connection between her outfit and the fervour exuded by “Jagun Jagun,” emphasizing the movie’s powerful impact.
Commending Femi Adebayo Salami, the mastermind behind “Jagun Jagun”, Ajao hailed him as the “man of the moment.”
