Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna North have renewed their confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani following a strategic meeting held over the weekend.
The gathering, convened by the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, took place at the Uba Sani Campaign Office and drew ward, local government and state executives of the party, as well as senior government officials.
In his opening remarks, Mamman Lagos clarified that the meeting was not convened to advance the political ambitions of any individual, but to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilisation machinery in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
He said Governor Uba Sani’s performance had exceeded expectations, even among opposition elements who initially doubted his capacity to govern effectively.
“Those who predicted failure have been proven wrong. Today, many of them have joined others in commending the Governor’s achievements,” he said.
According to him, Uba Sani has restored peace and unity across previously divided communities while delivering critical infrastructure and development projects across the state.
“All we owe our Governor is loyalty and sustained grassroots mobilisation for his re-election and for President Tinubu’s success,” he added.
As a demonstration of commitment to party structures, Mamman Lagos donated ₦5 million to APC members present at the meeting.
Also speaking, the Chief of Staff to the Governor expressed delight at the unity demonstrated by party stakeholders, noting that their commitment underscored their belief in Governor Uba Sani’s leadership.
“This meeting has shown our unity and love for our great party. We must continue to rally behind our Governor. We are fortunate to have a leader who genuinely cares for the people,” he said.
Prominent stakeholders at the meeting included the Commissioner of Information, Hon. Ahmed Mai-Yaki; Commissioner of Environment, Hon. Abubakar Buba; Kaduna APC Secretary, Hon. Yahya Baba Pati; State APC Women Leader, Haj. Maryam Suleiman; Kaduna North APC Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Wada; ward chairmen, special advisers and senior special assistants to the Governor.
