Kanekalon, the Japanese fibre giant collaboration workshop second phase enters day 2 with LAHAB and the Darling partners in Lagos providing key insights to help customers, make informed choices during the event on the 18th March 2025 at Abayomi Awodiora Hall, Apapa,Lagos state.
LAHAB team leader, Olayinka Oluwide welcomed all special guests including the representatives from Kanekalon, Darling, AH&B, and other notable individuals.
She stressed the importance of hairstylists and organizers working together and also hairstylists to collaborate, support one another, and showcase their creativity by crafting beautiful and innovative hairstyles.
Also, Darling representative, Abiola informed the participants about the brand’s history, highlighting its diverse product range available in the market and ntroduced hairstylists to the Darling Super Star and Darling Duchess Braid, emphasizing its uniqueness and benefits.
She underscored the importance of purchasing from authorized distributors and retaining receipts as proof of payment.
Concluding the session, she provided valuable insights on distinguishing original products from fake, equipping hairstylists with the knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions.
On his part, KANEKALON representative from Ghana Mr Poku opened with a historical background of Kanekalon, noting its key features and qualities, including easy braiding, a soft touch, flame resistance, hot water setting, time-saving benefits, and a legacy of being loved for over 65 years.
He further highlighted the various Darling products spotlighting their unique and attractive qualities that allow hairstylists to showcase their beauty, innovation, and skills.
The stylists were tested on their skills and knowledge to ensure they gain firsthand experience through a product demonstration.
In attendance at the Kanekalon Collaboration Workshop at the day 2 were Kanekalon, Darling , AH&B Magazine, Local Governments personnel and zonal heads.
