Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule
Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has called on stakeholders, particularly APC governorship aspirants, to remain calm and adhere to the political process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He made this appeal during a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone held in Keffi.
Sule emphasized his commitment to ensuring justice and fairness during the party’s primaries. “
I am responsible for ensuring the primary election is free, fair, and transparent,” he said.
He also promised to announce his preferred successor at the appropriate time, without fear or favor.
The governor reminded party stakeholders that true political power comes from Allah, who alone determines leadership.
“Power comes from Almighty Allah alone,” Sule said.
“But I, Abdullahi A. Sule, have the right to express my preference. When the time comes, I will clearly declare who I believe should succeed me.”
*Western Zone’s Turn*
Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a former APC National Chairman, expressed that it’s now the Western Zone’s turn to produce the next Governor of Nasarawa State.
“Keffi Zone governed for eight years, Lafia for twelve. Akwanga is currently serving its second and final term. Therefore, the Western (Keffi) Zone should produce the next governor in 2027,” Adamu stated.
Sule appreciated the initiators of the meeting for promoting unity and progress within the zone’s party structure.
He urged all party stakeholders to unite and work for the APC’s success beyond the 2027 election.
