NATA honours Gov. Tambuwal as its national grand patron

Following the execution of various developmental projects across Sokoto State, The National Automobile Technician Association of Nigeria (NATA) has conferred on the State Govenor, Amimu Waziri Tambuwal, the honour of their grand patron.

The State Chairman of NATA, Alhaji Ahmadu Umar, disclosed this when executives of the association paid a courtesy visit to Governor Tambuwal at the Sokoto State Government House.

Alhaji Umar, who commended the governor for executing various developmental projects across the state, stated that the gesture would go along way in boosting socio-economic development of the state.

He also thanked the governor for his immense support and cooperation with the association.

On his part, Govenor Tambuwal stressed that NATA remained one of the greatest providers of employment to the citizens in the country.

According to Tambuwal, the association’s contributions to the national economic growth and its efforts to build bridges of unity, have impacted positively on the development of the country

Governor Tambuwal, who further noted that in recognition of these contribution by NATA, his administration has decided to establish a new mechanics village of international standard for their operations.

He also urged the NATA members to come up with a proposal on how they want government to support them, noting that with the current situation of economic challenges, many youths need to be empowered.
