
Former PDP National Chairman, Audu Ogbeh
President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences upon the passing of Chief Audu Ogbeh, highlighting his contributions as a patriot.
Ogbeh passed away at 78 on Saturday.
Through his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu extended sympathies to the government and people of Benue State, as well as Ogbeh’s family, friends, and associates.
Ogbeh held significant roles in Nigerian administrations, serving as Minister of Communications in the Second Republic and Minister of Agriculture under President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Tinubu commended Ogbeh’s sharp intellect and ability to address complex national issues with viable solutions.
Ogbeh started his political journey in the 1970s and was part of the founding members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
