
Hajia Aisha Buhari and the First lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu flanked by visitors
Nigerian First Lady Oluremi Tinubu paid a condolence visit to the family of late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
The visit was attended by several high-profile women, including the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima, and wives of state governors and ministers.
Senator Tinubu described the late President as “a symbol of integrity, discipline, and devotion to Nigeria.”
She noted that his life was marked by an unwavering commitment to nation-building, public service, and the welfare of the common man.

The First Lady also led a delegation on a condolence visit to the Palace of the Emir, Alhaji Umar Farouk, to commiserate with the Daura Emirate in Council.
She acknowledged the Emir’s loss and praised the late President’s virtues, saying he had done Daura proud and brought honor to the nation.
Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Radda, appreciated President Bola Tinubu and the First Lady for their unwavering support for Buhari while he was alive and after.
He described Tinubu as a patriotic leader and a reliable friend who had shown leadership and paid off for friendship.
The Emir, Alhaji Farouk, thanked the First Lady and her team for their condolences and appreciated President Tinubu’s relentless love and support for the late President and the Daura Emirate Council.
He noted that the President’s actions symbolized national unity and respect for a patriotic leader.
