Nigerian strike, Victor Osimhen
Nigerian striker ,Victor Osimhen has turned down a lucrative €30 million-per-season offer from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
Despite Al-Hilal’s willingness to meet his €75 million release clause from Napoli, Osimhen remains determined to stay in European football.
Sources close to the player indicate that Osimhen’s heart is set on continuing his career in Europe, rather than moving to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal, led by new coach Simone Inzaghi, had hoped to secure the deal before the FIFA Club World Cup starts on June 14.
With his future still uncertain, Osimhen’s decision highlights his commitment to European football.
After spending last season on loan at Galatasaray, the Super Eagles star’s next destination remains a topic of speculation.
