Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC), Pastor Paul Enenche, has admonished Nigerians to put their trust and hope in God in these trying moments for the country and citizens.

Enenche gave the admonition on Tuesday at the Makurdi Airport, while speaking with newsmen.

The Man of God, who was in Makurdi for the Apostolic Invasion programme tagged; “Light Has Come”, also argued that the light of God had the ability to dissipate any form of darkness.

He described he current global challenges as disheartening, but urged the children of God not to allow their spirit to be dampened nor discouraged by happenings around them.

Enenche advised believers not to lose hope, but have faith that the light of God would bring them out of every form of depression, and turnaround their lives for the better as long as they put their trust in God.

“We have come here today (for the crusade) to trust God for a visitation. The theme is ‘Light Has Come’, we know that God is light, and we know that the agenda of light is to dissipate darkness. And like you all know we are in a situation of very, very thick darkness, globally and nationally in particular.

“So we are trusting the Lord, first, for the light of God to shine upon the children of God and raise them out of depression, out of despondency, and also to shine upon them and give us a turnaround that only He can do,” Enenche said.

The DIGC, founder, who spoke on the security and economic challenges facing the country, also acknowledged the numerous challenges Nigerians were facing, encouraged them to keep the faith and maintain fire in the spirit.

“The situation in the country is very, very trying. The only thing I can say is that the people should keep doing what they can do, look up to God and maintain their faith, as the situation can shake hearts and faith in the Almighty,” he added.

Also speaking on the expectations from the programme, Enenche said according to the Bible, the path of the just is a shining light that shines more and more unto a perfect day.

“So we trust Him to shift us higher, and to also meet the needs of the people,” the cleric said. (NAN)
