Three students bag awards at Nasarawa University Entrepreneurship Exhibition

Vice Chancellor of NSUK, Prof Bala Muhammed cut the exhibition cake along with another university principal staff at the Entrepreneurship Exhibition Center.

The Vice Chancellor, Nasarawa State University Keffi, Prof. Bala Sulieman Muhammed has promised to bestowed financial award to the best three exhibition students as mark of encouragement.

Prof. Bala, made the pledge during public exhibition of students products to showcase their entrepreneurship skills and exhibition, organized by the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies.

The VC expressed his profound appreciation to the leadership qualities of the department for their dedication and commitments, especially by establishing a cordial relationship and synergy between the staff and students.

He urged the department to collaborate with the entrepreneurship centre and produce manpower that is innovative and technological that can benefit the university.

In her welcome speech, the Head Of Department (HOD), Entrepreneurship Studies, Dr. Ruth Andah, said the exhibitions are testaments of students creating something to make the different.

She reiterated that, entrepreneurship is beyond establishing a business venture but for taking charge and making impact for one’s livelihood, which requires courage, creativity a never give up attitude.

In the same vein, the former Director, Entrepreneurship Centre, Prof. Sam Tende, disclosed that, entrepreneurship is the only discipline created by God during creation.

Prof. Tende, who was the pioneer HOD of the department and reappointed as the current Director of Entrepreneurship Centre, said God created the world with problem and people for decision making and also for problem solving.

He advised the students to note that nobody looks up and down at the same time, therefore, they should take advantage of the opportunity within them and excel.
