President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will attend the eighth-day prayer ceremony for the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON.
Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga made this disclosure via his X handle on Friday
According to Onanuga, the President will depart Abuja on Sunday to join Governor Dapo Abiodun and other dignitaries at the event, scheduled to hold at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.
Oba Adetona passed away on July 13 at the age of 91 and was laid to rest the following day in Ijebu-Ode.
The President’s attendance at the eighth-day prayer ceremony is a mark of respect for the revered monarch.
