The Nigerian Alliance (TNA), a platform determined to transform politics and improve governance with clearly defined ideas, policy pillars and new cohort of servant politicians said it is ready to form alliance with any political party who is ready with its 7 policy pillars.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Sharon Orisakwe, Project Lead, TNA, identified the 7 pillars as Right to life, Universal healthcare, Freedom of speech, Police Reform, Equity and inclusion, Restructuring and a Living wage.

“We are going to engage in a lot of advocacy with stakeholders including political parties, so any political party who is ready to work with us, will adopt our 7 point policies.

According to her, there was the need to create Nigeria that belongs to all Nigerians not just the wealthy and well connected few.

“We need servant leaders who will work to create equality, justice, and liberty for all. TNA is calling on nation builders and everyone who wants a better Nigeria to join us”, she said.

On why the organization delved into politics, She noted that politics affected the daily lives and also every facet of the society.

“We know that government is the greatest implementor of all the policies, they have the capacity to turn something small to something very big. Politics is the live blood of any nation”.

According to her, everyone should be politically active bearing in mind that in democracy, that is where power lies.

Orisakwe called on youths who are not even interested in political office, to have the knowledge of the process.

“Get yourselves registered, have your PVCs, be aware of all electoral timelines, get yourselves involved in selecting your leaders from grassroots to national level and form groups to enable you track their activities”, she added.
