US President Donald Trump has called on Iran to conclude a nuclear agreement with Washington, warning that time is running out for diplomatic solutions.
Amid escalating tensions and Israeli strikes on nuclear facilities and military leaders, Trump emphasized the urgency of the situation.
“Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.”
He expressed concern over the ongoing violence, stating, “There is still time to make this slaughter come to an end”.
Trump highlighted the US’s superior military capabilities, saying, “The U.S. makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come and they know how to use it.”
He added that he had given Iran “chance after chance” to make a deal.
Observers doubt Iran’s willingness to pursue diplomacy, given the recent Israeli attacks.
Tehran reportedly retaliated with a drone attack involving around 100 drones, all of which were shot down.
The situation remains volatile, with uncertain prospects for a peaceful resolution.
