Kaduna State Commissioner For Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has said large turnout as an indication of victory for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in 2027 poll.
Mamman Lagos in an interview with newsmen, following the visit of Tinubu to Kaduna pointed out that the President and his host Governor Sani had won the hearts of the people through commitment to the service and welfare of the masses.
He described the two leaders as selfless, evolutionary and public office holders with the interest of the masses at hearts.
He stated that Uba Sani as Governor of Kaduna State in the last two years had proven to be a reliable leader with a clear vision to take the State higher in accordance with the wish and aspiration of citizens.
“Our dear Governor has performed far beyond the expectation of his subjects, including the opposition who are not left out in singing the praises of the present government in the state.
“They have for the first time since return to democracy witnessed a leader whose passion and energy to growth and development of the state cannot be overemphasized.
“They have seen a true transformational leader who has touched in a very positive manner virtually all aspect of governance.
“The people have seen a leader who is living up to his words and electoral promises to the people whose mandate he sees as a burden on his shoulders that must be delivered.
“A true patriot worth his name who could go to any length to ensuring delivering of dividends of democracy to his subjects,” he stated.
Speaking on Tinubu, the politician commended the President for his resolve to restructure the country on a strong foundation and sustainable pedestal that could stand the test of time.
“What you have seen in the visit of Mr. President was a demonstration of love by the people of the state who came out in a large number to welcome him.
“This shows how the State Governor has won the hearts of the people through service and commitment to their welfare.
“I want to use this opportunity to enjoin our teeming population to continue in their support for our great party, the President and the Governor,”he stressed.
