Zulum condoles Senator Monguno over father’s demise

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has extended his condolences to the senator representing Borno North, Barrister Mohammed Tahir Monguno, over his father’s death, Alhaji Tijjani Muhammad.
Late Alhaji Muhammad died on Saturday at the age of 95 and was buried on Sunday in Maiduguri. He left behind 17 children and many grandchildren.
Zulum, in a statement released on Sunday by his Senior Special Assistant on New Media, AbdulRahman Ahmed Bundi, expressed deep shock over the passing of the late Alhaji Tijjani.
The governor, who is on vacation in Saudi Arabia, said, “As the family and associate of late Alhaji Tijjani mourn his demise, I pray for Almighty Allah to forgive him and admit him to Jannatul Firdaus.”
“Late Alhaji Tijjani was a man of great humour and philanthropy who has touched the lives of countless individuals. While it is painful to lose a loved one, as Muslims and people of faith, we believe that every soul shall taste death at the appointed time, Inna lillahi wa Inna ilaihi raji’un.”
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno and other family members of the deceased over this great loss.
